Dear colleagues,

 

 

 

LABA, Cameroon, is organizing the NATIONAL DAYS OF ART HISTORY (JNHA) in Douala from 7 to 9 April 2025. Title of the conference: Assessment, Challenges, and Perspectives of Art History in Africa: The Case of the Discipline in Cameroon. The organizing committee invites EVC members to send proposals for lectures by end of January to direction@labadouala.com. The conference will take place in presence in Douala, Cameroon. Proposals for online presentations are welcome.

 

Exploring Visual Cultures (EVC) is an open, transnational network of stakeholders in the field of art, art education, visual cultures studies, and cultural anthropology founded in 2018. EVC promotes voices from the Global South and global dialogue with respect to two core values, global citizenship and sustainable development. EVC’s activities are funded by its member institutions and ministries.
