Nancy Prince Junior II, Designing the Future, generative illustration, 2024

As part of the exhibition, Prince Junior II is presenting two illustrative works: the first, "Crafts of World Destiny," and the second, "Designing the Future." The aim of these works is to demonstrate how human beings can influence the future of the world by using technological tools and to explore the potential impact of this interaction on our reality. Through the representation of machinist characters, the young student creator questions how artificial intelligence (AI) can modify or transform humans genetically and physiologically, leading them to become hybrid beings that merge human and machine elements.

Prince II Junior's creative experience with AI was, in his own words, both captivating and rewarding. It gave him the opportunity to conceptualize and materialize ideas by experimenting with various techniques with which he was previously unfamiliar. As he points out, "this experience has enabled me to acquire a new skill, which I intend..." illustrating his commitment to the evolution of his artistic practice.
