My project introduced the use of technology, mixology, and design to create a colour-changing cocktail brand driven by artificial intelligence. Harnessing the power of AI algorithms, I reimagined the traditional cocktail-making process through a lens of innovation and creativity.
At the heart of this project lies a profound fascination with the interplay of colours, flavours, and emotions inherent in the art of mixology. Inspired by the dynamic nature of cocktails and their ability to evoke diverse moods and sensations, I intended to capture this essence in a tangible and visually captivating form. Through research and experimentation, I developed an AI driven cocktail brand.
Accompanying this concept is an infographic, crafted to mirror the intricate steps of the cocktailmaking process. Drawing inspiration from the fluidity and elegance of mixology techniques, the infographic serves as a visual journey, guiding viewers through the artful fusion of ingredients, flavours, and colours that define an unique concoction. By intertwining data visualisation with the allure of cocktails, the infographic not only informs but also engages and excites, sparking curiosity and invites exploration.
I am Leán van den Berg, a 22-year-old from the vibrant city of Pretoria, South Africa. I received my degree in Information Design from the esteemed University of Pretoria in 2023, where my journey through academia was fuelled through my passion for a meaningful and intentional creative process. I am fond of blending aesthetics with purpose, embarking on crafting visual narratives that transcend the boundaries of conventional design.
