On 5 and 6 February, sixteen representatives of German art education met for a workshop with cultural anthropologist Dr Natalie Göltenboth to critically reflect on their own basic assumptions in the context of transnational, intercultural discourses. The focus was on positioning on the topics of art, culture, education and globalisation. This workshop forms an important basis for the Augsburg University's contribution to the documenta summerschool. The participants were from the art teacher association BDK (Clemens Höxter) and the State Institute for School Quality and Educational Research (Werner Bloß) as well as different secondary schools (Ingmar Saal, Robin Heydenreich) and universities: Gießen (Ansgar Schnurr, Jana Tiborra), Koblenz-Landau (Marc Fritzsche), Pilsen / Czech Republik (Johannes Kirschenmann), Passau (Barbara Lutz-Sterzenbach), Augsburg (Constanze Kirchner, Christiane Schmidt-Maiwald, Viktoria Dragula, Anja Schönau, Bettina Keck, Nicola Pauli, Ernst Wagner).
