To mark the World Art Day, an international celebration of the fine arts, Patrique deGraft-Yankson, a member of EVC's Expert Panel, published a statement on the radio. "Being invited by the University of Education, Winneba campus radio, Radio Windybay 98.3fm, to discuss World Art Day, which took place on April 15, 2024, was a rare opportunity for me to address a wider audience about art. The current stage of Ghana’s developmental agenda demands a significant emphasis on creative thinking. Therefore, I seized the opportunity to draw attention to the strengths of art education in providing avenues for harnessing the inherent resilience and creativity of our people to overcome obstacles and pave the way for a brighter future.
