About the Conference
Exploring Visual Cultures (EVC) is an international network of scholars, artists, and educators focused on understanding the impact of imagery on our perception and behaviour. Coordinated by an Expert Panel, EVC facilitates dialogue and collaboration among individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. The Expert Panel comprises scholars in art history, visual culture and cultural studies from South Africa, Ghana, Cameroon, Germany and Kenya (The Technical University of Kenya). The 4th International Technical University of Kenya - Exploring Visual Cultures Conference on Artificial Intelligence aims to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can transform education and practices and augment human efforts to tackle complex challenges across various fields.
AI endeavours to serve as a nexus for exploring AI’s transformative potential in reshaping education and practice across diverse domains of expertise. It aims to unlock new possibilities and revolutionize traditional processes. Leveraging AI’s transformative capabilities, the conference aims to foster more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable educational and professional environments, empowering individuals to thrive in the digital age.
This international conference will convene a global audience of scholars, professionals, practitioners, enthusiasts, and students to deliberate and address issues of international significance. The conference seeks to create more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable environments by harnessing responsible AI’s potential.
