Living in a digitally evolving world the innovation of AI has really has come and swept us at our feet making most of our work easier. However, in the creative industry many feel it's a threat to their source of livelihood, pride and joy
This series aims to show the mutual cooperation between AI and human abilities in creativity. AI is used here to enhance human creativity in the art scene. Inspiration for this series came from getting testimonies from various artists locally and internationally how the introduction of AI has negatively affected their art career Artworks in this series were made using watercolors and AI tools were used for conceptualization, generating new ideas and reference photos.

‘Capri’ is Greek for goat and its slang meaning is ‘Greatest Of All Time’. Through this I hope to show that Kenya is rich in both the cultural and natural aspects from its cultural heritage to gorgeous natural resources. It's the source of many creatives’ inspiration in many of their works and it will continue to be as long we conserve and preserve it.

This especially with young creatives who are in fear of AI’s negative impacts on the creative industry. Technology is ever evolving and it is up to us adapt and use it to our advantage.

Luo Girl demonstrates how the youth and creatives are suffering from stress and anxiety over the many challenges they face in their career. Though this greatly affects their mental health they still continue to hone their craft and find new ways to be innovative, even taking advantage of AI, since technology will only continue to improve over time.
Sandra Ateka, a Nairobi-based watercolor artist, breathes life into her canvases, skillfully capturing the vibrancy of culture through evocative portraits and captivating landscapes. In 2023, Sandra's talent graced a prestigious art exhibition—the Kenyan Fine Arts Festival at Nairobi Gallery— and in 2024 participated in the Art Bridging Borders Virtual Exhibition by Ubuntu Project and on May was chosen to participate in the 16th Affordable art show held at the Nairobi National Museum solidifying her presence in the local art scene. On May she also participated in a collaborative mural working with a team of 10 artists for the 2024 Summit of the Future Conference hosted by the UN Sandra Ateka's work transcends the canvas, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who connect with her captivating creations
