HOPE IN THE CONTAINER
"Hope in the Container" is a powerful story of resilience and empowerment for the female gender amidst the darkness of the Covid-19 pandemic. As the country faced shutdowns and essential services struggled, the female community was often forgotten, with social gatherings, clinics for pregnant and lactating mothers, and support for girls put on hold. In response, we, as interior designers, found hope in a unique solution: designing isolation centers within readily available and cost-effective containers. These centers were tailored to cater specifically to the needs of women, proving that gender matters, and there is indeed hope in the container. Through this project, we demonstrated the importance of recognizing and uplifting the most crucial group in our society, offering a glimmer of hope during challenging times.
