Azar Emami Pari is a researcher and teacher, based in Tehran. After doing her BA in Carpet Studies at University of Birjand, she did an MA in Philosophy of Art at Tehran University of Art. As a researcher and teacher, she works at Bayaz School in Tehran that focuses on the connection of historical Persian arts and crafts to contemporary art. She is currently undertaking research on the colorology of Persian carpets and also teaching a course on the aesthetics of carpet design at Bayaz School.
