Dong Xiaoling is a lecturer at the Department of Art History and Theory of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang, China, and a Master of Art History. She is mainly engaged in teaching the history of traditional Chinese Art and craft as well as the history of foreign arts. The main focuses of research are on modern and post-modern art and Sino-Europe art exchanges (17-19 century). She has published papers in China. She enthusiastically participates in teaching in art charities and participated in the design of a Touching Book for blind children at the Shenyang School for the Blind. She also gave public lectures on art history at Northeastern University and Gaodi Gallery.
