Priscilla Kennedy practices as a fine artist in Ghana. From 2013 to 2017 she had her Bachelor in Fine Arts in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. Her undergraduate thesis contributed to a broad discussion on gender roles and stereotypes surrounding the female body.
Priscilla has participated in some notable art exhibitions in Ghana, namely; “State of the Art: Re-Visit” at the Great Hall Foyer in KNUST, Kumasi, Cornfields in Accra in 2016 and Orderly Disorderly in 2017 at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra, Ghana. In 2017 she was shortlisted for the Barclays L’Atalier Awards in South Africa and won the First Merit Award. Priscilla is currently pursuing her MFA in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology in Ghana. In 2022 she won the Yaa Asantewaa Prize (Link).
